Following its inception earlier this year, Amani Community Choir is delighted to announce its first Christmas performance at 2pm on Saturday, 23 December 2017 at the Simpson Memorial Hall, 361 Moston Lane, Moston M40 9NB.
The will be a free, family-friendly event and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Amani Community Choir emerged from the annual Amani Festival which showcases African arts and culture and promotes community cohesion. Backed by professional musicians, they sing songs from all over the world, including Africa. People of all ages, ethnicities and singing levels are welcome to join.
The choir hold singing workshops every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 5:30 - 8:30 pm at Simpson Memorial Hall. Workshops after Christmas will start in February.
