Mission Statement:
Colbe Consulting was set up in 2017 by Colin Anderson. Having taught for 9 years, covering every year group from Reception to Sixth form, teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Construction in behavioural and mainstream schools - one thing became obvious:

An external visitor, a trip to a work place or a work experience placement, were all invaluable. The young people were inspired & enthralled – careers and dreams were sparked.

Also evident was that even those with a wide support network around them struggled to find work placements. What chance did that leave the more vulnerable children? Businesses were scared of negative headlines. A lack of experience was making workforces even more nervous to work around the young and/or vulnerable.

Hence, in 2017, Colbe was born with the aim of trying to increase opportunities to those less fortunate; to give confidence to businesses so they could not only enhance the lives of the vulnerable but also their employees.
As a new business I do not have money to give but I have and do work with other social enterprises to help them develop
