Sector 3 is an emerging network of likeminded organisations who are working together to make the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector stronger and more resilient across Stockport. Sector 3 aims to bring peers together to collaborate, support one another, to share resources, expertise and voice, and to further develop opportunities that will help them become sustainable and deliver more social impact.
Sector 3 is in the process of formalising the group structure. They are putting a call out for all those interested in representing the sector to put themselves forward as a member of the Sector 3 Working Group to help shape Sector 3.
If you are interested in joining, you are invited to attend the upcoming Sector 3 Working Group workshop on Wednesday 3rd July at Walthew House.
To register for the workshop, please RSVP on the Eventbrite page via this link.
All workshop attendees who are interested in putting themselves forward to work on the Sector 3 Working Group are asked to make a commitment pledge of what you can bring to the group going forward.
An example of what you could pledge could be:
- I want to be part of the working group and agree to.......
- Provide 2 hours a month of voluntary support as required (i.e. general admin or marketing)
- I will attend regular Sector 3 meetings and at least once a quarter
- I can bring ......... (skills/ experience/ resources) to the group to support the development of the Sector 3 group in supporting the VCSE sector.
Please send your commitment pledge to email@example.com before 27th June.
The workshop on July 3rd will encourage discussions in regards to Sector 3's Mission, discuss the drafted Terms of Reference, identify any gaps in these and form an agreement with both. The second part of the workshop is an opportunity to discuss commitment pledges and the roles of the Working Group.
Please help spread the word and share this event with your VCFSE contacts to help make this exciting development in Stockport a success!
